I have gotten to the point where I have multiple WordPress sites, and keeping up on maintenance is getting challenging. I searched online for some type of WordPress multi-site maintenance program, and this was the only product I found. It looked promising. It seemed that it would do what I wanted.

Among other things, WPManager DX claims that it will update all plugins, on all sites, by updating a single site (the master site, I believe). It also lets you backup the database to all your WordPress sites from within the program, as well as install new sites instantly that have all the themes and plugins you want them to have. In essence, it is meant to be a huge timesaver for people with multiple WordPress sites.

The product requires an annual cost, which I was not thrilled with. I’d rather pay a higher price at one time, rather than pay annual renewal fees. But, since there was nothing else like this that I could find, I clicked the button to purchase it.

That was the my first problem.

You see, you can’t simply pay for this product from the product site. Nope. You have to jump through hoops. You CAN’T purchase WPManager DX from its product site. Rather, you have to visit a sister site, NicheBloggerDX.com, and purchase THAT product. Then, you will get WPManager DX as a bonus (but still have to pay the annual fee). I didn’t WANT NicheBlogger DX. I wanted WPManager DX. The whole process felt sneaky and underhanded to me, but I still went ahead with the purchase.

Which led to my next problem. It took me a few hours to actually install the product on one of my websites. Yes, I could have paid them to do this for me, but I really didn’t want to spend the extra money. At one point, I even wondered if the product’s creator purposely did something to force people to use their installation service for WPManager DX. However, in the end, I did figure things out. I no longer remember what the problem was, or how I resolved it, so please don’t ask. I do remember, though, that I ended up doing something that was not included in the instructions. I’m not sure if this means I was making a mistake, or if the instructions were poorly written.

Which led to my final problem. I couldn’t figure out how to use it. Sure, it came with documentation, but it was pretty awful, at least for how to use WPManager DX with existing sites. I couldn’t get it to work at all, no matter how many times I read the Instruction Manual.

This product is being promoted as an easy solution, not something that requires a PhD to use. Mind you, I’m pretty technically inclined, and using this was beyond my abilities.

I soooo wanted this product to work as advertised. In the end, though, I wasn’t actually able to use this product to know how well it does or doesn’t work. I will say that I know of a few people who use this product and are very happy with it. I, unfortunately, am not one of them.

On a positive note, the creator refunded my money within one hour of my credit request, so I was impressed by that.

Features

This review of the Jeremy Schoemaker (aka ShoeMoney) 12 Week ShoeMoneyX Internet Marketing Guide, is actually going to be stretched out for a bit of time! Since the Free Guide itself is 12 weeks long, I am going to edit this post weekly, examining the latest weekly installment.

Since Jeremy is considered a leader in the Internet Marketing Industry, I have pretty high expectations from his Free Guide!

What is the ShoeMoneyX Internet Marketing Guide

Have you ever wished you had one place you could go to learn how to turn an idea into a successful method of earning a living online? In Jeremy’s own words…

“Jeremy Schoemaker – ShoeMoney”
I recently decided that there is just too much great information in my book to exclude people from reading it. I have now backed out of my major book deal and turned it into a completely FREE 12 week guide to Internet marketing.

Being a regular reader at Jeremy’s site, I couldn’t resist the call to sign up and learn from a very successful force in the Internet Marketing Business. Since he is offering this free of charge, the worse case scenario… means I have to unsubscribe, or opt out of the email only guide.

Features of the ShoeMoney Guide

Once you sign up for this free Internet Marketing guide, you can expect each of the topics below to be delivered in the form of an easily downloaded and saved pdf document each week. At least week 1 was!

Week 1 – The Beginner’s Guide To Internet Marketing

Week 5 – Advanced Pay Per Click (Cont from Wk 4)

Week 5 – SEO: How To Rank Higher And Increase Traffic<del datetime="2009-07-02T01:02:18+00:00"></del>

Week 12 – Launch Day: How To Kick Start Your Business And Manage Your Projects

Week 1 Guide Review – 05/23/09

Once you sign up for the Internet Marketing Guide, you can expect to receive an email from Jeremy, asking you to confirm your request to get email from him. Once you click the link and confirm… you should get The Beginner’s Guide To Internet Marketing, shortly thereafter.

Week 1 can be summed up in one word… “Introduction”! Personally, I’m not much on reading multi-page introductions, but the way Jeremy started from scratch and actually made it interesting to read, it was well worth the time it took to read the 11 page week 1 guide.

You will learn who Jeremy Schoemaker is, his roots, and how he turned a hobby into a multi-million dollar business! On top of learning about the person behind the guide, you will get a very clear preview of the Internet Marketing Industry so you know what to expect, and whether it’s right for you over the next 11 weeks!

Jeremy answers a series of true or false questions in a very honest and enlightening way, even for those of us who aren’t new to Internet Marketing. At the end of the guide, he provides us with a clear action plan to prepare for the next installment! I hope each week has a plan like this!

If the week 1 guide did nothing else, it left me wanting week 2 to get here quickly!

ShoeMoneyX Week 2 Guide Review – 06/01/09

Having followed along with the Week 1 guide and taking Jeremy’s action plan to heart, I was excited when week 2 popped into my inbox on May 30th! Again this week, you receive the ShoeMoneyX IM Guide in the form of a PDF, which makes it very easy to store and read at your own convenience. Week 2 of the ShoeMoneyX Guide is 18 Pages long.

Week 2 is heavy on learning all about affiliate products, websites and affiliate networks, which is good! Even if you think you know all about networks, terminology and how to work with affiliate managers, the guide takes it a step farther and breaks each word, phrase and term, into definitions and how they apply to you. If you don’t know what “Scrubbing” or “Shaving” mean in affiliate marketing, you need to sign up now!

Around page 13 of this weeks guide, you start getting into the meat and potatoes of Internet Marketing when you start to learn about 6 proven ways to promote your affiliate offers! Jeremy breaks each of the 6 methods down into brief paragraphs with the details of WHY they work so well! There is also a section that covers the reasons for cloaking affiliate links, as well as several methods you can use to do so!

One thing I really like so far, that has been in both weeks, is the “Realities” or “True – False” section, where ShoeMoney answers the hard questions in plain and simple truth.

Week 2′s Action Plan is where we really start getting down to business, and you get the sense that next week… you will start putting the methods into action and possibly making our first affiliate sale!

ShoeMoneyX Week 3 Guide Review – 06/09/09

Week three arrived like clockwork, and as Jeremy recommends in his intro email, I DID actually read it twice! Just like previous versions, it is a pdf, 17 pages long, and contains a very detailed action plan at the end of the guide!

For myself, week 3 really started getting into the meat of internet marketing! This week we start learning about finding our Niche! You start to understand things like competition and keyword research, but you also get a slim picture of what you may possibly earn on your new website! As with previous weeks, there is an abundance of real-world examples and walk throughs to get you up to speed quickly!

I was a bit confused reading this weeks segment, since Jeremy talks quite a bit about researching your niche, when in effect, he recommended in week 1 to go out and register an LLC, and setup your new venture as its own buisiness from day 1. If I had just dropped $200-$400 to have the LLC registered and in week 3, found out that it was not a worthy market to pursue… well, you understand. IMHO, the LLC and legal aspect should come AFTER you know if its worthy or not!

All aside, this weeks guide really gets you primed to make an impact in the coming weeks!

ShoeMoneyX Weeks 4 & 5 Guide Review – 07/01/09

Week 4 came around right on time, and I knew it was going to be a hard week. While I have tried my hand at, and often failed at PPC, I have truly looked forward to this week. To my surprise, week 4 turned out to be more than a single week could handle and Jeremy split it into two parts, Basic PPC Understanding and Strategies (wk 4) and then Advanced PPC Techniques (wk5). For the sake of saving space, I am going to combine the two!

If you don’t have a clue what PPC means (Pay Per Click) week 4 will get you up to speed very quickly! From understanding the various acronyms associated with paid search marketing, to the many different places where you can advertise and walkthroughs of the tools you will find at those sites, week 4 is like a bootcamp of paid Internet marketing!

Jeremy really gets down in to the basics of how to setup campaigns, track their performance and yes… he also gets into the reporting side of it a bit, sharing different examples of measuring success! By the time you are done, the action plan is there to get you even more familiar with everything, since you will be putting it to work in week 5!

Week 5 is where you begin to see it all come together! Jeremy took me through a complete understanding of the science of landing pages! I actually went out and visited a few of my own sites and started experimenting with different page layouts… While I was not driving PPC to one of the sites I made changes to, the conversion rate on an offer increased by more than 500% – just by employing one of his strategies and split testing a few layout changes! (No kidding!!)

A common thread you can expect to see from this point forward… the information Jeremy is sharing is great, but only if you actually use it! Hopefully, you are following along with the weekly action plans, and by now you have a good idea of several methods for putting your ideas into motion!

If you are looking for an alternative to Pop-Ups, or any other way you may be using to get a message right into the eyes of your visitors, Instant SlideUp may just be the perfect answer!

Instant SlideUp is designed to work on any website, by inserting a simple piece of code into the head section of your site or a specific page, like I did on this page. It does not rely on MySQL or any database in the background, and from all I can see, cannot be blocked by pop-up blockers! (Yes, I tried)

I installed this script in less than 5 minutes on one of two other websites to test out the effectiveness and the results surprized even me! On one site, I chose to use a prebuilt opt-in form to increase subscribers and even though the site was only -30 days old, the subscribe rate grew from 3 a day, to 22 a day immediately!

On the second site, I chose to use an offer message instead! Before installing, I had a click through rate of less than 5%, after putting the Instant Slideup into the footer of the site, click-through increased to more than 20%! That’s HUGE, and I paid for the cost of the script within 2 hours of placing it on the site!!

Features of Instant SlideUp

A great place to start in optimizing any web page for the search engines is to analyze the on-page factors. Things like word count, keyword density, keyword prominence and keyword count all tie the page together as well as focus it for the keywords you’re trying to rank for. Having software that can look at your site and give you this data quickly and clearly would be a definite boost for any overall web campaign.

Website Auditor Features

Website Auditor allows you to look at your website in ways you may not have thought of before. This stuff is not only for SEOs either. Website Auditor creates detailed reports that give you information you need to improve your site in easy to understand steps.

While it is true that off-page factors such as backlinking and link quality may be more important overall to your rankings this doesn’t mean that you don’t need to pay attention to on-page factors as well. It’s important to have a well optimized page before you move on to the off-page tactics. Having thousands of backlinks won’t help your site in a competitive market if your site isn’t optimized for your top keywords.

Website Auditor starts by getting the URL of the site you’re interested in optimizing as well as the keywords you’re trying to rank for. From there, it produces a report that walks you through each of the critical areas of your site and the changes you should make. It even shows how your site compares to ten of your competitors.

Once the changes have been made, you simply run the analysis again to see the improvement. You can then rinse and repeat until your site stands toe to toe with your competitor’s.

Pros and Cons of Website Auditor

Lets you see the most important areas to put content to get your visitors’ attention

Alerts you to the problem areas on your site

Guides you easily through fixing them

Explains how your site will gain in rankings

03-18-2010 Edit: PLRPro.com has just completed a complete revamping of their site and product. The owners have completely changed what they are offering. Now, you can get up to four components that they offer:

Section One: Content (250 unique articles in 25 niches each month)

Section Two: Training (Four-step process to making $4,000 each month)

Section Three: Site Creation (Create preconfigured affiliate websites using WordPress within five minutes, without any knowledge of how to put up a site)

Section Four: Traffic Generation (gain additional traffic by getting backlinks using ArticleMarketingAutomation.com)

I am very impressed with the changes they have made, and MUCH prefer the PLR articles they are now sending members.

~ Rochelle

Writing content for a website can be extemely time-consuming work. For some, it is even torture! Finding pre-written articles that you can legally use on your own sites is the perfect answer for many site owners. This is why many people use PLR articles.

PLR stands for Private Label Rights. It means, you can use PLR articles in any way you see fit, within the terms of the articles. The terms vary from source to source, but typically you are allowed to publish the articles and claim them as your own, but you can’t sell them or give them away.

Enter PLRPro. PLRPro is one of many PLR membership sites. For a monthly fee you are given 11 different articles packs, each containing 40 articles, and header graphics that match each pack’s niche or theme.

You might wonder why you would want to pay the monthly price from just a bunch of articles and graphics. I once thought that, too. Truth be told, I was a member of PLR Pro in early 2008, and quit a month later. The articles were fine, but I didn’t really know what to do with them.

What a difference a year makes!

Features of PLR Pro

In late 2008 I rejoined after finding out they had overhauled the site and added a lot of features (with more to come!). As of this writing I have been a member for five months and have no plans to quit again. The changes the site owners made has significantly improved the site for all members. This PLRPro review is based on my most recent experience with them.

First, you still get the article packs and graphics. Included with the graphics, for those who have Photoshop, are the .psd versions of the graphics, so you can modify them, if you want. Or, you can use them as is. They are high quality headers that can be used without modification.

Newly added to the site is a tool that aims to make various aspects of creating and promoting a site as easy as pressing a button. The reality of this tool is that there are still bugs to be worked out, which is frustrating at times. The frustration mostly comes from seeing the potential of this tool, knowing that it can do so much more than it sometimes does. But when it works properly, it can’t be beat!

The tool, called the Project Green Button (or PGB), makes creating a new site a super simple process. Simply enter a few details about the site, choose a theme for the site and your article pack, and the PGB tool builds the site in minutes. You can also use PGB to edit any page, or add new pages.

There will soon be a modification to PGB that will allow it to make WordPress blogs, which is very exciting! I prefer to create sites using WordPress, not HTML.

The PGB tool also has several promotional tools. From within PGB you can launch:

RSS Submit. This will allow you to submit your site’s RSS feed to several well-known sources.

Social Bookmarking. This will allow you to submit your site, or pages within your site, to many well-known sources.

Article Marketing Automation. This will allow you to submit articles to the AMA site, to help you gain backlinks to your site.

These three tools are incredibly helpful to have. The services they provide are important for gaining traffic to your sites and getting important backlinks (links from other sites to yours). Having them as part of PGB is incredibly helpful in that PGB keeps track of your login information, and you can do everything from one location. This is SO much easier than having to go to each site individually!

PGB does not submit sites to directories. If you want to do this then you will have to do it on your own or use separate software.

Included in your membership with PLRPro is free access to AMA. AMA is an amazing resource and will be covered in another review. I love using AMA and think that this, alone, makes the membership worth it. Throw in the PGB tool and this is an incredible deal for people who plan on creating multiple sites.

The owners of PLRPro want you to succeed when you join their site. To accomplish this, they have created a step-by-step blueprint of how to make $2000-$6000 per month within 12 months. They tell you exactly what to do to achieve this financial goal.

Is the blueprint realistic? Yes!

There are no difficult steps. All are easily accomplished. The most difficult aspect is actually doing them. And to help you do each step, there is a spreadsheet that you use to track your progress. The key is to complete each step each week for six months. You can go beyond six months, but the spreadsheet is only for this length of time.

There were one or two areas that confused me on the spreadsheet. While I think I know what I’m supposed to do with them, I was not positive. Fortunately, there is a great forum for members. I posted questions about what I was confused about and got answers pretty quickly.

In and of itself, PLRPro is a great program. However, it is not the end-all, be-all of site creation and promotion. It is my opinion that this site is a perfect match for Crowd Mountain. What you learn as a member of Crowd Mountain will help immensely with your membership to PLRPro. Among other things, Crowd Mountain goes deep into explaining about keyword research, which is glossed over at PLRPro.

While it may be tempting to simply start posting articles on your site, I urge new members to actually watch the tutorial videos and read the written instructions. Even if you think you know a topic, it is important, as you may have been doing something wrong and not even know it.

Pros and Cons of PLRPro

Cons of PLRPro

Cost of membership – this may be too steep for some people, but it is very much worth the cost

About the Developers

PLRPro is the brain child of Daniel Turner and Marc Lindsay. Both Daniel and Marc have learned the ropes of site creation and promotion, and are dedicated to helping others achieve the success they now have. Best of all, Daniel and Marc are accessible to members. They encourage members to contact them with questions, and they actually answer their emails. I can vouch for this, as I contacted one of them and got a response within 24 hours.

Cost and Licensing of PLRPro

When it comes to affiliate marketing, time is money. The quicker we can get our concept from idea to functioning website the more time we’ll have for brainstorming new money making ideas.

Anybody who has used any store building software knows that it’s very easy to substitute quality for quantity when putting up affiliate sites.

With StoreStacker, you no longer have to make that sacrifice.

Features of StoreStacker Niche Store Builder

From the moment you start building your store you realize this isn’t some flimsy spam site producing machine. It’s a well thought out, logical system for putting together your affiliate site with all the bells and whistles you see on professional sites. Want videos? Just add them. Need articles? Just pull them.

Probably the most impressive part of this system for me was that you’re not stuck by some rigid content creation system. You can get up the bare bones and upgrade it later or you can put the whole shooting match together as you go.

It’s really up to you how rich you want your site to be.

Cons of Store Stacker
